Artist's Comments

My cousin again! I love this shot, it reminds me of something I've seen a few times in a magazine.... I can't remember the artists name but I believe it starts with a 'C' and can be found in Graphis' annual report :D so if any one has any ideas...

All those around me say :"Oh no, don't take my picture, I always look bad in pictures".....
:iconwyslet:
then you have to know that you can make any one look good in pictures :)

long , long , time ago, new camera's make it too easy, just take 10 pictures, one will be okay, I now, that's the wrong spirit, just joking :)

eh, its true and not true. I've spend time in the darkroom now so I know what it takes to make a good print... or at least to make an OK print. Its a lot of time, and a lot of effort. For people who own portrait businesses or shoot weddings its important to have that freedom to be able to 'snap snap snap' and not have to worry about one being a little blurry. Not every one can just go out and take a great picture, there is still much they have to learn, and pay. However film is much more personal, and so I would much rather use film when I am shooting an idea. Something inanimate that I can shoot over and over again.

Even then when black and white film is $5 dollars for 36 shots, not including the price of paper, it just isn't cost effective.

right, well, yes, okay :)

It does look a little like some particular artist's work...And also a bit like a really fun staring contest, where you both break down laughing in the end.
